About company

Vara was found in 1992. The name of the company came of a word "open the door" because the main activity is the producing of the door.

After the fail of Vydmantai state farm we bought a vegetable preparation department, where we arranged a joiner workshop . Then we started our activity. There were only 8 workers, machine tool made by ourselves and just 250 m² of producing area.

Our strong will and physical strength helped us to reach reliability as well as flexibility of our company. So we gained success and recognition.

Within twelve years of existence we managed to build and arrange 3000 m² of producing area as well as 100 of working places.

Today our production is exported to Norway, England, Russia as well as to Sweden. Export reaches up to 50 %, the left part is for the local market.
